    OVWI Attorney

If you have been arrested for drunken driving (Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated) in Indiana, you owe it to yourself to get the advice of a knowledgeable OVWI Attorney

The fines, license suspension and increased insurance rates that may result from a DUI arrest may be extremely costly while preventing your ability to legally operate your vehicle for an extended period of time.

    DUI DEFENSE

Although it is never easy to defeat an OVWI, you probably have a stronger defense than you think. We may expand your options for a positive outcome by seeking to determine any procedural or civil rights violations, including:

  • Why did the arresting officer pull you over?
  • What field sobriety test were given/were they standardized test?
  • Was there probable cause to support the OVWI arrest?
  • How was the blood test at the police station administered?
  • Are there inconsistencies between the police report, probable cause affidavit and charging information?
  • Was the machine properly calibrated and was the test operator certified at the time of the test?

  • Before you  enter a guilty plea to operating a vehicle while intoxicated we must consider all of the issues outlined above as well as any criminal history in your past which may affect the plea agreement. Indiana imposes mandatory increased penalties for OVWI repeat offenders, so if this is not the first time for an arrestee, competent legal counsel is essential.
